i agree. >> it's god to see you. congratulations. >> thank you. >> everyone went to congratulate him on the big south carolina win? con garage ligss. >> good feeling. good feeling. >> you know, i've been now on the radio for almost 30 years. it is my 20th year on the fox news channel. been through a lot of presidential elections. south carolina's always harsh. >> right. >> we call it a blood sport. with that said, do you think at the end of this process all, when all is said and done you become the nominee, are you getting along with jeb bush and marco rubio and ted cruz? >> i think so. you know, we have to be yourself. not nice things have taken place over the last little while. south carolina was rough. i was having commercials made about myself that wasn't me. i don't mind bad commercials but at least let it be bad. i have one on las vegas right now. you see it? having to do with federal land. what do i have to with federal land? cruz commercial. it is like where they come up

with the ideas? although he fired his guy so maybe that will be the end of it. [ laughter ] they have truth l. i'm not a politician and hard for me to say i can totally forgive all of the lies and misrepresentations made. now, i know that's not very nice and people say you have to give and forget. great real estate guy over there. my son loves him. bob massey. bob is great. [ applause ] >> number one show on the strip, that's terry fader. >> good. very good group over here. >> the answer is yes but it takes a little time. right? >> in healing. >> i'll be fine. >> do you ever think now that this is going to happen? if we look at the polls for super tuesday, you have a big lead here. >> right. >> in nevada. >> got to keep it honest. >> nevada. sorry. nevada. we have a big lead here.

>> a hard time with that word. >> yeah, i do. you're winning in 10 of 14 of the super tuesday primary states. do you feel confident going in? >> i do. i feel great. i feel -- i mean, so many of the polls and the polls were so good if you look at -- i mean, no matter where you look, new hampshire, we had a great poll. and we actually outperformed as you would call it outperformed the poll. no matter where we are going, we seem to be outperforming. we are happy about it. we have to keep it honest. i will have bob and the group go and stay at the various polling booths the know it's going to be honest. [ applause ] >> they have a reputation. >> it is las vegas, folks. right? it is a wonderful place. i love las vegas. it is las vegas. the poll lead is tremendous but it's a caucus. i have never been a big fan of caucus. you go in and sit around and talk an i like to have people go in, vote and leave. right? >> takes less time. >> i don't know what happens when they talk. so i hope it works out well but i think we'll do quite well.

>> one of the things, the question asked most often about you, i have interviewed you on radio and tv a lot, you call yourself a common sense conservative. >> right. >> how did you evolve? you had liberal positions in the past. how did you become a conservative? what changed? >> think i've been conservative fngs s financially. looking at the company right now, very little debt and cash flow. i filed the papers. everyone's like it's a great company. >> not a bad bottom line. >> no. it is a great bottom line. a great company. some of the greatest real estate assets in the world. i say that, frankly, i talk about it. that's what people need. 19 trillion in debt. you need someone with a certain mentality. i have evolved. we talk about it with ronald reagan. ronald reagan was a pretty liberal democrat. he evolved into a republican

fairly conservative. i'll say this. i think that i have very much evolved. but if you look at my real conservative credentials, i don't think the word's that important. he is not a true conservative. jeb an others were saying he is not a true conservative. i was saying -- what is this? because, you know, that's when i came about and two weeks ago i said i'm a common sense conservative. as conservative as you can be on the military. i'm as conservative as you can be on taking care of our vets. we'll take care of the vets. i'm as conservative as you can be on common core. we'll get rid of it. have local education. can't be anymore conservative. i mean, what everyone will lo, you cannot get more conservative than me on the medical and the health care because we'll get rid of obamacare and we are going to have great health care. great health care. you know what sean likes, right? you like health care.

>> savings. i do. >> it's good and we have to get rid of the lines an you have to have competitive bidding. >> that is what health care savings accounts are about. >> it is, yes. and they're great. and it's much better and you'll have your doctor and your plan. president obama lied so much to get obamacare passed. 28 times. you said 24. i heard 28. you will have your own doctor, your own plan. all these different things. >> and save $2,500 aier. >> the democrats stung that just barely were able to raise their hand, they won by almost nothing. and this monster was approved and in 2017, it will be out. it's dead because not because of anything i would do. of course, i'll terminate as soon as i get in. work on terminating it. but it is going to die of its own way because as you know the people they weren't counting on

are going in. so it's going to die in 2017. unless the republicans -- >> go ahead. >> give it more life and what they do constantly. i don't get it. >> i think the republicans surrendered way too much. >> how about the last budget? >> that was a sore -- >> a few weeks ago. >> amnesty. obamacare not repealing or replacing it. this is the question i guess people want the know. what specifically do you replace obamacare with? you mentioned a few things. >> one of the things that we have to do and it was almost done last time in all fairness to obama. i'm self funding my campaign. when the insurance companies come to me, i couldn't care les. i'll spend a tremendous amount of money and i don't think i'm getting the credit i should get to for that. i 50e78 turning down millions and millions and millions of dollars. so i think it's a big deal. i don't think i'm getting the credit that it deserves to be honest with you. >> also spending less per vet. >> yes. >> than the other candidates.

so when you apply that -- >> how much to take a one-hour commercial on fox? >> i'm very expensive. >> see? right? this costs me nothing. >> i read the "art of the deal" so i know. what about the critics and even some supporters, oh, donald trump says something controversial, he sends out a tweet that was controversial, you sent one out this weekend and i thought it was one of the funniest things i ever read. you were making a point about the president not going to justice scalia's -- >> which he should have. >> he should have. justice scalia's funeral and made a comment and seems we have to be humorless. you're shattering that ceiling of political correctness. is that by design? >> basically. i made a comment he might have gone if the funeral was held in a mosque. it was done very -- it was done -- it was done from a common sense -- for fun and it

was a question mark. i'd never make it as a statement. but and it did get a lot of people thought it was very funny. it was meant to be cute. but the truth is he should have been at that funeral. here we are where he's trying to push somebody. no blame him for that. he should try. the republicans absolutely shouldn't let it happen. >> hold the line. >> i tell you what i don't like. absolutely not. absolutely not. here we go again. second day they say, well, there is a minor chance to work -- all of a sudden now i see that was coming. >> i predicted that was coming. >> obama is a terrible negotiator except for the republicans. he gets everything he wants. it is trou. >> good point. >> look at the iran deal. it is one of the worst deals i have ever seen in my life negotiated $150 billion. we get nothing. we get nothing out of that deal. >> how do you prevent the iranians from getting a nuclear weapon knowing that they have the 150 billion? spinning their center refugee s.

you suspect they're building nuclear weapons, hiding it from the world. what action do you take? >> you have to rely on israel a little bit. they know more about what's going on over there than we do. you know? i have so many friends, jewish friends, and they have supported obama. so disgusted. they can't understand what happened. what went wrong? i i think that president obama has been the worst thing that's ever happened, sean, to israel. the worst thing. i don't understand it. >> let me follow up because -- >> netanyahu, a good guy. i have never seen -- he was so stressed. he couldn't make his point. and even the fact, look. having nuclear deals is a good thing. not a bad thing. make good nuclear deals and not horrible and pay $150 billion. >> to the number one state sponsor of terror. >> you get the prisoners back and say you have to come back. no, you walk.

you leave. they never walked. ridiculed by everyone. never walked. never got up and left the table. it was such a sad deal. if they would have walked after they said, no, no, no. they would have walked and came become and ratcheted up the sanctions and come back and given you the prisoners and then should have said, by the way, we have the prisoners back and not giving you 150 billion. we shouldn't have -- no. >> i was made over the issue when you said that you would be neutral in the israeli/palestinian conflict and see that israel is the victim in this. >> yes. i'm a great friend of israel. i was the grand marshal of the israeli day parade. i was the grand marshal of the israeli day parade. i have so many friends. and in fact one of them -- one of my great friends. jared, my son-in-law. my son-in-law is jewish. i mean, fantastic.

very successful guy. new york real estate. >> expecting a baby any day now. >> over the next week or so. so there's nobody closer. and bebe netanyahu asked me to do a commercial for his campaign. i did it. what you want to do is the ultimate deal is a deal of israel and palestinians. i have been told by people it's impossible. the hatred, especially on the one side, i won't say which side. >> palestinian side. >> so intense, so incredible. from the time they're 2 years old told to hate, to hate, to hate. it has to be taken away. i have heard story that is are just unbelievable. got to be taken away. i'm told and use it as an example. when a deal is tough, nothing compared to this. this is the toughest of all deals. i'm not saying the best or this. this is the toughest deal to make. okay? if they can't make the deal with like the iran deal, this's like

simple. week or less. years an years and years. this is a deal that's tough. i have people that are smart and great negotiators involved and that deal they have not been able to do it. >> if israel is under attack and you are the president, you would come to their defense? >> 100% i'd come to their defense. 100%. now, you know that under the iran deal they say, i haven't seen this, nobody's seen it. nobody really has read really but under the iran deal if israel attacks iran because they see they're doing the nuclear or if it's the other way around, we have to fight with iran. by the way, that's not happening, folks. i don't care. deals are meant to be broken in some cases. all right? i'll rip that. but i will -- you know, under deal come to their defense. i have only heard that but people have read -- no, no. people have read a piece of it.

and according to the way it reads we are supposed to come to the defense. do not worry, israel. we will be there. >> can i get you to clarify one thing that became a bishs this week? do you or do not support mandates of the american people -- >> no. >> health care. >> on health care. people are not going the die. i make many speeches to tremendous crowds of people. we have tonight i will have 12,000 people after this. >> not enough room for 12,000 here but they were outside. >> i talk about health care a lot. i have had tens of thousands of people over the years working for me. i know a lot about health care. it's a very important thing and i feel very proud that i've been able to give so much education to people and health care, to people that worked for me. they don't have to worry about obamacare. my people. i treat them really good with health care. very important thing. when i'm president, i am not going to let people die in the middle of a street because they have no money. can't do it.

when i speak -- so immediately these conservatives, the one that wrote the 27 people wrote about donald trump not being conservative enough, honestly, more conservative than most of those people in most ways, but and i say it in front of big crowds of 10,000, 15,000 people. standing ovations. largely republicans i guess. we'll have democrats and independents going over. i say we cannot let people, we can't let people die in the middle of 5th avenue, different streets all over the country, this country. they have no money. and you know, i get standing ovations when i say it. that doesn't sound like a republican thing. i have these -- >> i think that's a false narrative aboutves, though. >> i have the very stupid, highly conservative people saying, oh, it is a mandate. that's a mandate. look. it's very simple. and they can call it whatever they want. call it mandate. you know? i do things differently. not a mandate. what it is is we can't have people dying in the streets,

sean. we can't have our people dying because they don't have money. the people are successful people, i know some of them. some are -- look at mr. phil r you ruffin. he takes care of people. millions of dollars. phil. one of the most successful people in las vegas in the country. and i didn't even know he was doing this. he doesn't talk about it. he's one of the guys, does it. but he opened a clinic, spends millions of dollars a year takes care of people. those are the kinds of people that are terrific. you won't read stories about that. >> the point, just to finish -- >> we want health care and much better. take what you need. with obamacare you take things you don't need and could never use but we will have -- a certain segment of our society that doesn't have anything. we will have to take care of it and maybe through medicare. we are going to send them to hospitals and to doctors.

we'll take care of them. every time i say it, i don't think someone said i don't want to do it. people call it a mandate. it is not a mandate. >> how do we balance the budget? 95 million americans out of the labor force. 50 million in poverty. 46 million on food stamps. huge numbers. how do we help the people? how do we build up the military decimated under this president? >> all things i'm going to be doing. >> repeal and replace obamacare and still balance a budget so we don't rob our kids? >> obamacare will kill the budget. >> already is. >> obamacare -- yeah, but the numbers in '16 and '17 and '18 are astronomical. one of the biggest problems we have with the budget. anything you do in terms of saving is going to be gobbled up. the numbers are astronomical. if they were and it was fantastic, that's one thing. i know people given up the obamacare. they're out. they can't afford it. >> can you do that and balance a budget? >> yeah, you can.

>> how quickly and how? >> you have been saying it for years and sounds simplistic. you are talking about the penny plan. take a penny off of four or five years -- >> one penny from every dollar. >> i think you can do better than that. right people like in the agencies and the various people that do the balancing and budget, et cetera, et cetera, you know cut the numbers by two and three pennies and balance a budget quickly and have a stronger and better country. you know, when i build a building, i spend less than the guy across the street. it's better and costs me less. look at the campaign. i spent less money on my campaign than anybody else. they're spending pharmaceutical company money and then wonder why we don't bid out pharmaceuticals. if we bid out pharmaceuticals, we don't. we don't bid out drugs. >> nothing. >> we're the largest purchaser of drugs in the country. a friend doctor came to me. no way, no way. and then he didn't understand

why. as soon as i figured out that we didn't, i said, why? because all of the guys running against plus another group of about 400 people take money, they take so much money. if we bid out the purchase of drugs, this country would save hundreds of billions of dollars a year and we don't do it. >> last question on the economy. you said that you would lower taxes. >> right. >> more people that wouldn't pay any tax. >> right. >> repatriot the money. trillions overseas. >> could be $5 trillion. >> jobs can be created through energy. >> at least. at least. >> all things you have said. >> sure. i'm saying it. for years. >> i think people want this question. maybe goes to the heart of your popularity. how fast can donald trump the businessman get the taxes lowered, the money back, energy independence, and the balance budget i think everybody here wants? >> so we are a country that -- a lot of people don't know this. we pay the highest taxes anywhere in the world.

our middle class is decimated. you know, certain way the middle class is treated the worst. worst than anything. the middle class taxes way down. the system's much simpler. not h & r block asking for money for your tax return because -- seriously. that's one company that's not doi going to do good business. simplify it. we're cuts taxes for the middle classes, for business. we have pfizer just announced leaving the united states. it's a great company. pfizer. so many companies leaving the united states. carriers. disgraceful situation. laying off 1,400. going to mexico. building a plant. only one way to stop that. it was on television all over the place because somebody was used a cell phone camera. all over the place on television. look at the 1,400 people. devastated. they were there for years and years and devastated. guy said, no, i'm sorry. we're going to mexico. carrier air conditioners.

only one way of solving that problem. the conservatives would say, oh, he is not a free trader. i am. it has to be smart and free trade. you say to them, enjoy the stay in mexico. but every air conditioner you make that comes into this country you pay a 35% tax. you know what happens? they're not moving. and honestly, the politicians, they want to do legislation because they know it's a problem. losing the companies. they're leaving. leaving for a number of reasons. taxes are too high. certain conditions they don't like. okay? and they're also leaving because they have a lot of money outside of the country. they're leaving to get money. in other words, thiey're leavin to get money in the country. >> you want to try to save carrier shutting down that plant and losing those jobs and you want to do it -- you expressing to me the thought of those people losing jobs. >> i'm going to write a letter saying if i win you will pay a big tax selling air conditioners

in the united states. i don't care from a location, i don't care if they move from the city, wherever they may be, they have to stay in the united states f. they want to move to new hampshire, treated me very well, also, by the way. new hampshire. they started the ball a-rolling, right? they started the ball. south carolina, new hampshire, it was -- it's been so amazing. i meet the people. one thing that's happened in this run, i get so many people. i have learned how get the people of this country are. we have great people. when i say -- we really have amazing people. so when i say -- i have said make america great great, better than ever before. i want to see apple computer making their apples and their iphones an all of the things that they make in this country instead of in china. >> stay right there. when we come back, more with 2016 republican presidential candidate donald trump and in a few minutes some of the members of this audience, they'll get a

welcome back to "hannity." we're back at caesar's palace in beautiful las vegas and continuing with 2016 presidential front runner donald trump when's the guest for the hour. i know these are labels but is there anything that you would describe yourself as liberal on? >> well, look. i don't love the term and i've been called liberal on certain things. i don't really love it. you know, honestly, i can't think of anything. i'm a pretty conservative person. >> pro-life. pro-second amendment. >> 100% pro-life. i have things coming. i didn't used to be. you know, many years i would be

asked a question and as a developer and business person, i was like, never asked a question about pro-life and they should leave that whole statement. i don't like it. they don't show that. i'm pro-life. when i said this, i guess i said pro-choice. i said, i don't like it. i was never asked that question ever. this was the first time i was asked it on a very good television show with a very talented guy, very good guy. he asked me and never asked that before. if you see the way i answer that question, you'd understand. but i've seen things happen over the years and it made me very strongly pro-life. i think i told you the story a friend of mine, two people i know very well. going to have a child and one of them didn't want the child under any circumstances an they fought and fought. almost lost their marriage. they had the child. and the child is a superstar. a total superstar. >> and that changed your mind. >> changed my mind and other things and changed my mind. >> pro-traditional marriage?

>> yes, i am. >> i know a lot's been made over -- you said good things of planned parenthood but people -- i guess they miss the interviews with me. >> no. you know what happened? they don't want it. >> you said you would not fund planned parenthood. >> we have to be realistic. i know people having to do with planned parenthood. i know women that are, you know, that are -- use planned parenthood. they do certain things properly. cervical cancer, lots of different things. i would defund it if they're going to do the abortions. i said that. >> if they continue abortions. >> they serve a function. there are millions of women. >> sure. >> who need service. they talked about women's health care issues. i said i'll help women. they have -- they're set up to help millions of women and defund if they do abortion. >> let's talk about if you get the nomination, a big part of being a president, i've been to trump towers many times. i see how your operation works.

>> right. >> i wonder in my mind how that translates if you become the president. who are people that you would want to surround yourself with on important issues like national security, homeland security, the economy? >> okay. we have so many different elements. we have trade. i'll be so good on trade. when i first announced on june 16th, i came down the escalator and it was a nice thing and takes guts to run for president, courage. >> described it well the other night. brutal, hard. >> and then everybody lies. never seen liars like this. people, politicians. no. they're incredible. i'm telling you. just today i saw an ad about myself and federal lands. what do i have to do with federal lands? makes me the worst person in the world. ted cruz scam ad again. he's the worst. one of the greatest liars of all time. i know you like him but a senior liar. rubio said the same thing. he gave me cover. in the debate he said you're a

liar. great. i can say it, too. i have never seen that before. i have dealt with lot of politicians. just i want -- i want the greatest people, so important. carl icahn endorsed me. when you putt people like this, i'll say to carl, carl, i want you to watch over trade with china, losing $500 billion in dealing with china. and then if i say i'll tax them. manipulation of the currency. devalue the currency. impossible for our companies to compete and then when i say it's not going to happen anymore, i get the conservative guys. i don't know if they're conservative but they write different magazines that don't sell, all dying. every one of them dying. i was telling the story that trump is not a conservative because he doesn't believe in free trade. i do but china can't make $505 billion on us this year. we don't have any money. >> you're a free fair trade?

island say this. fair trade, smart trade. i'd like to say brilliant trade. i want brilliant trade. we need brilliant trade and so far behind the 8 ball. we have been losing so much money for so long. when i say the wall, everybody loves a wall. even these crazy candidates. people come up to me. i was listening to a candidate and he said, we will build the wall. my wife said, where did that come from? we played it back. but now they're saying we'll bald wall. everybody likes the idea of the wall. we will build the wall. people come to me, the candidates a couple of them saying you won't get mexico to pay for the wall. i said, of course i will. it's easy. we lose $58 billion a year in trade deficits with mexico. in addition, we give them subsidies and not including the drugs pouring across the border. >> i have been there 12 times. >> you understand what i'm saying. >> let me ask this. side question. you are good with the pope now?

is that over? >> i tell you. you know. i was raised -- because we're ready to go to vote. right? south carolina and we're all ready and everybody's enthusiastic and like, you know, 15 hours before the polls open. and i'm driving, i'm ready the mick a speech and corey and hope come to see me. ef with a problem. what? the pope. i say, what? the pope. i never heard of this problem. one way i was honored. i said, just tell me. did he say good or bad? and that he said, he said bad. i said the pope said bad? that's the end of that election. this is bad news. so anyway, it turned out that, you know, mexico, by the way, i have respect for mexico. their leaders. smarter. >> you are good now? >> fine. >> building the wall. how quickly will it be built? leaders of mexico said trump is not allowing -- they don't talk about the crime, all of the economic problems. crime is far greater than i said at the opening remarks.

we will have borders. bottom line, the wall and borders. we will have very strong borders and people will come into the country, sean, but legally. go through a process and come in legally. otherwise we don't have a -- >> you said you believe at this point in the race that it is going to be hillary clinton. if you're the nominee, do you view her as a formidable opponent, somebody that's tough? >> i would love to run against her. she's so badly flawed. she shouldn't be allowed -- she is. she shouldn't be allowed -- i'd love to run against a socialist/communist. okay? that would be -- >> that would help. >> i don't think -- i don't think our country is ready for communism. i really -- sort of like that. you know, saying 9 % tax to take care of these things by the way then you wouldn't have enough. >> nobody will have anything at this point. okay. >> we are not ready for it. so yeah. i've done very well in the

polls. you have seen recent fox poll. a q poll just came out where i was ahead of her by pretty good margin. i haven't started on her. "usa today." i mean, i haven't. i haven't. >> are you planning soon? >> no. honestly, no. i'm focusing on -- i have five left total. and i started off with 17. i was attacked viciously by many people. and those people all went boeing. they went down. i mean, if you look at it, i was attacked by people. what happened? what did i do? and then i attack back. you know, a lot of people went down. every single person so far, proud of this record. wouldn't this be good to have for the united states? every person that attacked me has gone down. >> we have to take to break. we'll continue. more with donald trump and our audience will have some questions when we come back.

financing of college. borrowed up to the neck and come out and don't have a job, a big problem. i thought that would be your question actually. the truth is they want to see security for themselves and jobs getting out of college or wherever they're coming from and high school, frankly. some people going to high school and fine and want a job. can't get a job. because the jobs numbers are phony numbers. put there to make politicians look good, in particular presidents. we probably have -- probably have 25% unemployment. and if we didn't you wouldn't have crowds like this coming an 10,000 and 12,000 people every time i speak. we have a tremendous jobs problem. and what we're going to do is give you great security, the safety, everything you want and jobs for the country and one of the things, the greatest jobs producing president that god ever created. i will be. believe me. >> thank you very much. >> takes the jobs. >> we have brenda?

obviously have the supreme court opening. you have told me in three separate interviews you would look like justices like scalia and thomas. the constitution is foundation of the rule of law. you read the constitution. what does it mean to you? >> well, the constitution is sort of everything. if you look at it and you look at when's going on and the problem is our constitution is being badly denigrated by an example of hillary clinton because you have other people that have done very little by comparison to what she's done with the e-mails and all of the security measures that are from place and everything that's taken place. and she's just sailing along running for president. >> gets away with it? >> i think so. gets away with it if -- there's a long-term statute of limitations. if a republican gets in, there's a long-term statute of limitations. >> would you appoint -- >> i think it's a disgrace. general petraeus was destroyed. his life was destroyed. not just a few. many people that did far less

governing their own land? >> that is a very important question here. i will say this, you do have to obey the law. i watched went on in a certain section and we've been watching that over the last three months and it has to be -- you have a country and you have to obey the law. i have to say that. there is such hatred about that subject. the level of, and you're probably on a certain side of that. so i look at it closely. >> what do you like the next president to do regarding this? >> look into it as best he can. i'm not, i don't know everything about it. i just see what is going on. >> what side are you on? what side are you on? >> would you like states to have more control? >> absolutely. i mean, absolutely. states have more control. states have more control. and i know what is going on with the horses i have lived here my
